Valentine’s Wine and Dine at Firefly Cellars

Celebrate the Valentine’s holiday and embark on a culinary journey learning the fine-art of pasta making, led by Chef Stacie Husmann of Cooking Thyme with Stacie. Please join us for a hands-on cooking class preparing a meal to be enjoyed with curated wine pairings. Guests will play an interactive role in creating their own meal, including making their own pasta!
Amuse Bouche – Individual Antipasto Cups, paired with Firefly blanc de blancs (sparkling wine)
Starter – Caesar Salad with Parmesan Crisps, paired with Firefly Illumination (white blend)
Main – Homemade Pasta with Alfredo and Marinara Sauces, paired with Firefly Twilight (red blend)
Dessert – Red Wine Infused Brownies with Chocolate Ganache and Gelato, paired with Moonlight (port style)

Stacie Husmann is the owner and instructor of Cooking Thyme with Stacie, a cooking class business in Fairfax, VA opened in 2012. She is a Navy spouse and loves to share her joy of cooking and hospitality each week through live stream culinary classes from her home kitchen and hosting in person corporate team building events. Her love for cooking truly began to flourish during the three years her family lived in Paris, France, entertaining and preparing meals for her husband’s diplomatic and military counterparts when he was the Assistant Naval Attaché at the American Embassy. Since then, their family has lived in Hawaii and Japan, continuing to entertain colleagues and foreign military members. She opened Cooking Thyme in the current location, Fairfax, VA, in the Fall of 2016. Cooking Thyme continues to add new cuisine and menus to the schedule every season. She hopes to share her insights with you in a fun and engaging way. Cooking Thyme with Stacie wants to inspire you to make meals for your loved ones creating opportunities for conversation, laughter and sharing around your table.
